  1. Hi I am the mother of a current freshmen in college who is pursuing his dream as a professional pilot and he is doing great and loving it. Our only problem is the cost. We do not have a lot of money and have utilized all our scholarship and financial aid resources we currently have and are looking at a hefty loans/loans this semester alone. As a mom I do not want to see him have to worry about if he will be able to finish because of the cost and not because he can’t do it. We are looking at scholarships all over and as I was reading this one I wasn’t sure if he would qualify since he is already attending a college. Would he be eligible to apply and possibly get this being he is already earning hours and just had his 1st solo? Thank You for you time.
